3. Our Journal:
Finally, we come to what many call the “centerpiece” of our community. The bi-monthly WedLock Journal.
It gets delivered to your doorstep every other month and it is tailormade not only to you – the wedding professional – but its tailormade to your TIME constraints as well. We know that wedding pros are an exceptionally busy bunch, and they often don’t have a lot of time to spend in front of their computers.
So our new format features “eight weeks of Homework” for you. Instead of throwing a bunch of advice at you and hoping you make the time to put that advice into action (because, really, that’s the only way great advice makes you money, doesn’t it? When you put it into action on your business?) – we make the time FOR you.
We don’t put a lot of celebrity fluff or theorizing in our journal. Each article is actionable and better still, we summarize all the action items in that issue into one, simple, easy to use checklist. No more reading something and thinking “Boy I should really do that for my business, but how?!” We tell you exactly how, in one checklist.
Which brings us to why we do a print magazine, and not only the digital version (though we have that as well.) Previous experience in the marketing industry has proved to us that the open rate for a digital magazine are usually pretty dismal.
Think about it – are you more likely to flip through a pretty, tangible, glossy print magazine that lands on your doorstep…or one that lands in your already overstuffed email inbox? And if you’re not reading it…you’re not building your business with it!
We print these magazines and mail them to you because we know you’ll be more likely to actually read them. And if you’re more likely to read this advice, you’re that much more likely to act on it, and profit from it! So enjoy your printed magazine.
